Patient guide
Our patients come first. We want you to have the information you need to know about fibroids and about your options for treating them. You can also find out about women like you by reading our patient stories. Give us a call if you have questions about insurance, we will do our best to help.
If you don’t have an appointment yet, feel free to contact us. Although a referral is not necessary, we can work closely with your doctor to coordinate your care.
Most of the time, UFE is an outpatient procedure, which means that your evaluation, tests, and treatment can be done in the clinic during the day, allowing you to return home for the evening. Most patients return to their normal activities within one week. Our team will follow up with you to check on your progress and recovery.

For our patients, here is what you should know about the UFE procedure:
- Imaging your fibroids
- Prepare for your procedure
- The day of your procedure
- Your overnight observation
- Recovery at home
- Important phone numbers
